Panamanian Journalists take a stance against Chavez
June 04, 2007This is displayed on the sites of all Panamanian news papers today. The Panamanian press has had it’s fair share of trouble in the past. In particular during the Noriega era, but also during the last president Mireya, who attempted to jail several journalists for supposed slander.
Maybe this explains why Panamanian journalists care deeply about this issue. Unfortunately the Danish press hasn’t been entirely as supportive.
The marxist Danish national broadcaster DR has been on the side of Chavez. See The Chavez/Lindvig scandal continues for more.
