We will not bother to denounce it...

From Nick Szabo’s great collection of Ronald Regan quotes :

“The West will not contain Communism, it will transcend Communism. We will not bother to denounce it, we’ll dismiss it as a sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages are even now being written.” — Notre Dame University, May 17, 1981

I can’t help to think that this particular quote relates perfectly to my recent post The trouble with Libertarians. I could paraphrase it like this and it would be a suitable battle call to Libertarians everywhere to not waste our energy on denouncing and bitching about the anti-globalists, statists or social democrats:

“The World will not contain Anti-Globalists, Statists nor Social-democrats, it will transcend Anti-Globalists, Statists and Social-democrats. We will not bother to denounce them, we’ll dismiss them as a sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages are even now being written.”
