Danish Constitution Roundup

October 16, 2006

Just to round up my analysis of the Danish Constitution:

My conclusion is that it is seriously flawed. There is very little to protect us against a toletarian parliament. There is little help within the judiciary to protect human rights, which is why the only real option for most people is to go to the European Court of Human Rights.

There is also very little will to do anything about it. In a way I prefer that it stays as it is than overload it with even more positive rights (right to abode, living, education and all of that), which will undoubtedly come if the Danish kleptocratic parties get their mitts on it.
