FARC kills more indians and BBC continues spin

April 04, 2006

Read this BBC article about how the Wounaan tribe from Colombia have been displaced for the 3rd time after their 2 caciques (chiefs) were killed last week.

The article isn’t bad, but it misses out one very important point. The Caciques were killed by FARC. Yes you heard it right the Colombian communist guerilla group which is favored in Europe by the same useful idiots who plaster their walls and chests with Che pictures.

But little reported here in Europe, FARC has been running a program of killing Caciques to control the “natives” for several years now. And not just in Colombia. The various tribes in Panama’s Darien province have been traumatized for years by FARC, who regularly execute their Caciques.

So why does the BBC place prominent links next to the article to articles about the role of the US in Colombia, but not one mention of the people who caused it? Well I remember a couple of years ago when I was invited on a date to the BBC pub by a member of BBC’s Brazilian reporting staff. Her and everyone else there were stereo typical anti american intellectuals. You know the ones where Che is good and Gringo bad. Never matter the actual facts. In the above article you see what happens when they are forced to write about something their “heroes” did. They gloss over it.
