Chinese Anti Communists demonstrating in Denmark

Walking to the train station this morning I noticed these banners outside hotel Scandic here in Copenhagen.

Yesterday I saw an unfeasably large group of suits leaving said hotel and was wondering what was going on. It turns out it’s the Annual Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors who are amongst other notables hosting Jia Chunwang the Peoples Republic of China’s Chief Prosecutor.

It turns out the demonstrators are Falun Gong who helpfully handed me the following flyer:

I noticed today that they have also pressed charges against Jia Chunwang at the police, although this is almost certainly going to be ignored.

Jia presented a paper Prosecutorial Organizations in China And Protection for the Victims in Criminal Actions which is kind of laughable when you remember that the biggest criminal group in China this century were perpetrated by his very own Communist Party.

I know nothing of Falun Gong, but wish them good luck.
