Danish comedy scandals #2: Rambo Minister

March 23, 2005 Typical Danish political correctness scandal. During a visit to Afganistan the Danish minister of defense Søren Gade wore a hand gun publically.


The press together with the opposition parties are talking about his lack of judgement.


Søren said he had not done anything wrong and was only trying to take an active part in his own security.


I can only applaud him for doing so, but would also like to point out that it would be great if the citizens of Denmark would be allowed to take some sort of responsibility for their own security as well.
